On Tuesday, March 5th 2019 we proudly present the amazing HAG – Holland Americas Group. This prestigious jazz trio, with Dutch pianist Mike del Ferro and trumpeter André Heuvelman, has a magnificent reputation in the international jazz world. Their paths crossed in Amsterdam where they have become committed to each other’s style and compositions. HAG performs improvisations on an eclectic mix of music: classical, world, jazz evergreens, and brings their own new melodies. Music that touches you, that grabs you and allows you to dream away.

The Holland Americas Group consists of 3 internationally renowned musicians;
André Heuvelman | trumpet
Since 1990, Andre has been a trumpet player. He was a valued member of the Dutch Wind Ensemble and is since 1997 the solo trumpet for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. His solo in “Beirut” by Ibrahim Maalouf has been viewed many times on Youtube. Andre gives master classes on a regular basis and he is a teacher at the Rotterdam conservatory Codarts.
Mike del Ferro | piano
Dutch pianist Mike del Ferro started studying classical piano at the age of nine and after falling in love with Jazz he pursued his studies on Jazz and received a Master in Contemporary Music at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Mike is a composer, pianist and arranger who writes and performs in several musical genres. He has travelled the world extensively, searching for collaborations with musicians from cultures quite different to his own. He released 17 albums under his own name and he has appeared as a sideman on many albums in different genres from Dixieland to Salsa.
Santiago Cimadevilla | bandoneon
Santiago Cimadevilla was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He played guitar from a young age and studied classical piano at the Conservatorio Municipal Manuel de Falla. In the Netherlands he studied bandoneon at the Rotterdam Conservatory, where he was awarded for outstanding study results and artistic quality. As a tango music performer and bandoneon player he is currently working with many renowned musicians and ensembles in Europe.
